Regan McHenry is a Santa Cruz, California, Realtor whose work puts her in the midst of mystery, mayhem,
and murder. The amateur sleuth uses tools and techniques she's learned during her career and skills she's honed as a
keen observer of human nature to solve mysteries - just not always soon enough to stay out of trouble.
She's aided in her sleuthing by her husband, Tom Kiley, a computer programmer turned real estate broker,
and by her friend Dave Everett, a cop reassigned as a police public relations ombudsman after losing an eye in the line
of duty.
Local readers will recognize landmarks in Santa Cruz, Aptos, Capitola, and Bonny Doon; and can go in
search of the real houses used as inspiration for the settings in Regan's adventures.

"Nancy Lynn Jarvis [...] used her years of experience in the real estate market to create protagonist Regan McHenry - a
realtor who investigates murder mysteries in Santa Cruz County in between showing property. Nancy's books are
smart, funny mysteries, which also give a true to life look at the life of a real estate agent."

Mags and the AARP Gang
Mags and her gang of renegade octogenarians have a deadline. They have to rob Bayside Community Bank, the bank about to
foreclose on the mobile home park where they live, by a week from Friday so they can pay off the mortgage and save
their homes. They've cased the joint, planned carefully, assembled their disguises, rehearsed their every move - what
could possibly go wrong? Plenty.
Some people think they can take advantage of the elderly. They haven't met Mags and the AARP gang or they'd know
better. Sure, they're older, but not too old for the adventure of a lifetime or to risk everything for the sake of
friendship.

Fellow Real Estate Agents
Santa Cruz Realtors may recognize themselves or associates who inspired characters in the books, and
business situations that seem familiar. But, the profession has similar characters and situations everywhere it is
practiced. A Realtor from Carmel, California, or Hilton Head, South Carolina, may just as easily think their local
associates could be the basis for Regan's colleagues, and that their own business experiences are just like hers.
Realtors: The books make perfect housewarming gifts or a good read for your clients as they wait for
their properties to sell. Your clients will probably appreciate you more and like you even better than they already do,
after reading about the real estate world from the perspective of Regan and Tom.
